DIMAPUR, Feb 7: The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has announced the examination schedules for the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) and Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) exams for 2025.
The HSLC examination will begin on February 12 and run through February 24, with a total of 23,267 candidates, including 22,310 main examination candidates and 957 compartmental candidates, set to appear for the exams. The examination will be conducted across 97 centres statewide.
Meanwhile, the HSSLC examination is scheduled to commence on February 11 and will conclude on March 7. A total of 17,194 candidates will appear for this examination at 68 examination centres. Of these, 546 candidates will take the compartmental examination across various streams. The breakdown of candidates includes 12,403 in the arts stream, 1,026 in commerce, and 3,219 in science.
Additionally, the Class XI Promotion Examination 2025 will run from February 11 to March 7, with 18,375 students from arts, commerce, and science streams appearing in 192 institutions.
The NBSE has instructed all candidates to bring their original admit cards to the exam centres on all examination days and urged students to avoid malpractice during the exams.
