CHURACHANDPUR, Feb 18: Prashant Kumar Singh (PK Singh), the Chief Secretary of Manipur, visited Churachandpur on Monday to assess the local public life and review the district’s civic administration. Upon arrival, he was warmly received by the District Administration, led by Deputy Commissioner Dharun Kumar S, IAS, at the Conference Hall of the Mini Secretariat, Tuibong.
During the visit, Chief Secretary Singh held discussions with representatives from Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) from Churachandpur and Pherzawl districts. These discussions were aimed at understanding local concerns and challenges faced by the communities. The Chief Secretary also met with security officials to review the current situation in the district and address issues affecting the general public.
Accompanying Singh were Manipur’s Director General of Police, Shri Rajiv Singh, IPS, and NK Ujjwal, IPS, Inspector General of Police. Additionally, the Chief Secretary also interacted with displaced Civil Officers and Medical students.
