SENAPATI, March 6: Don Bosco College (Autonomous), Maram, in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, is set to organize the District-Level Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament 2025. This initiative aims to provide young minds with a platform to discuss key national issues, fostering leadership, civic engagement, and policy awareness.
The event aligns with the vision of Viksit Bharat @ 2047, encouraging youth to actively participate in shaping India’s future. The program, inspired by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, is being implemented through the MY Bharat (Mera Yuva Bharat) Portal.
The Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament 2025 follows a three-tier structure—District, State, and National levels. At the district level, 150 participants will be selected to present their views on the topic “One Nation, One Election: Paving the Way for a Developed India.” From these, the top 10 participants will advance to the State-Level Youth Parliament, which will be held at the Vidhan Sabha. The finalists from the state level will compete at the National-Level Youth Parliament, scheduled to take place at Samvidhan Sadan, New Delhi.
Youth aged 18-25 years (as of February 24, 2025) can participate by submitting a one-minute video on “What Viksit Bharat Means to You” via the MY Bharat Portal from February 27 to March 9, 2025. The selection process will be conducted by a panel comprising academicians, journalists, and public representatives, ensuring fairness and excellence in the competition.
The event is being organized in collaboration with various government bodies, including the Higher Education Department, School Education Department, Youth Affairs and Sports Department, Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan (NYKS), and the National Service Scheme (NSS) under the respective State Government.
