NEW DELHI, March 10: The Naga Students’ Union, Delhi (NSUD), in collaboration with the Lotha Students’ Union, Delhi, organized an informative workshop on the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) (UG) 2025 on March 8, at the Nagaland State Guest House, R.K. Puram, New Delhi.

This workshop was intended for students who have completed or are appearing for their Higher Secondary Examination and wish to pursue undergraduate courses at central and state universities in Delhi for the academic session 2025-2026.

The workshop was primarily aimed at the members of the NSUD Admission Help Desk (2024-2025) and representatives from other non-affiliated tribes. It served as a capacity-building exercise to help these individuals provide swift and accurate guidance to Naga students, especially those back home, in matters related to CUET (UG) 2025 and the subsequent admission process.

The workshop was led by Mrs. Leimiwon Zimik, Assistant Professor in the Department of Geology at the University of Delhi. Since 2022, Mrs. Zimik has been volunteering her time and expertise to assist Naga students with issues related to CUET. During the workshop, she explained that the CUET, being a relatively new and dynamic examination system, is prone to frequent changes. As such, she advised participants to stay informed by regularly checking the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA) for updates.

In addition to other aspects of the examination, Mrs. Zimik emphasized the importance of understanding Program Specific Eligibility—particularly the subjects and tests required for admission to specific courses at various universities. She encouraged participants to consult the official websites of their desired universities and ensure they selected the correct subjects when filling out their application forms for the CUET.

For those seeking further assistance with the CUET (UG) 2025 or the admission process, the NSUD Admission Help Desk and tribe representatives are available for support. Contact details for the help desk and representatives have been provided for those in need of guidance.
