SENAPATI, March 13: The Naga People’s Organisation (NPO) has strongly condemned the ongoing Kuki-Zo indefinite total shutdown and warned the government to lift the shutdown within 24 hours, or face consequences.
According to a press release from the NPO’s Information & Publicity Wing, the shutdown has caused immense hardship for the general public, significantly affecting their daily lives, livelihoods, and access to essential services. The NPO demanded that the government take immediate steps to restore normalcy by ending the total shutdown and reinstating essential services.
The NPO further warned that failure to comply with their demands would compel the Naga people to take their own course of action, including pursuing legal recourse.
