NEW DELHI, March 14: Holi, the vibrant festival of colors, is being celebrated across the country today with traditional enthusiasm and joy. The festival, which marks the arrival of spring, symbolizes the triumph of good over evil, and fosters a spirit of unity and harmony. Holi transcends barriers of caste, creed, age, and gender, bringing people together in a celebration of togetherness, equality, and fraternity. Festivities began with Holika Dahan, observed a day before Holi, signifying the victory of righteousness.

On this auspicious occasion, President Droupadi Murmu extended her greetings to the people of India. In a social media post, the President emphasized that Holi is a symbol of India’s rich cultural heritage, spreading the message of unity, love, and harmony. She urged citizens to unite and pledge to fill the lives of all the children of Mother India with the colors of continuous progress, prosperity, and happiness.

Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar also greeted citizens on Holi.
