SENAPATI, March 22: A joint operation was carried out by security forces from 06:00 AM to 8:30 AM at Hengbung Village on March 22, within the jurisdiction of Senapati Police Station. The operation, led by Dharmendra Kumar Tyagi, IPS, SP Senapati District, Manipur, was a coordinated effort involving multiple teams, including Addl. SP (L&O) Senapati, SDPO Senapati, OC Senapati PS, OC Women PS, Senapati, Special Operations Team of Senapati PS, and platoons from various CRPF, AR, and BSF units.

The operation focused on a cordon and search operation where approximately 150 houses were searched, and 245 individuals were verified. The security forces successfully recovered four bolt-action single-barrel rifles and 15 rounds of 12 Bore ammunition.

Following the operation, a case was registered at the Senapati Police Station in connection with the seizure.
