SENAPATI, March 27: The Indian Army has opened online registration for recruiting year 2025-26 under the Agnipath Scheme for the states of Nagaland and Manipur. The PRO (Defence) Kohima, Imphal & Rest of Arunachal Pradesh announced that the registration began on 12 March 2025 and will remain open until 10 April 2025.
The recruitment of Agniveers will be conducted in two phases:
• Phase-I: A Computer-Based Written Examination (Common Entrance Examination – CEE) will be conducted at selected centers in Nagaland and Manipur.
• Phase-II: A recruitment rally will be organized for candidates shortlisted based on the merit list of the CEE. The Army Recruiting Office, Rangapahar, will provide detailed advisories and requirements for the rally.
Steps for Registration
1. Candidates must log in to www.joinindianarmy.nic.in to check eligibility and create a personal profile.
2. After filling out the application, candidates will be redirected to the SBI portal through a link on the website.
3. A fee of Rs 250/- plus applicable bank charges must be paid using debit/credit cards, online banking, or UPI.
4. Candidates must have an active email ID and mobile number for further communication.
5. Exam Centre Selection: Candidates can choose up to five options for their preferred examination center.
6. Aadhaar Number: Candidates must enter their Aadhaar number in the online application and are advised to link it to their mobile number.
7. CEE Practice: A category-wise practice link for online CEE is available on the Join Indian Army website. Candidates are encouraged to practice at least once before appearing for the actual exam.
8. Multiple Category Application: Candidates can now apply for up to two categories. However, those applying for multiple categories must appear for two separate CEEs, as different question paper standards and separate merit lists apply.
9. Guidance Videos: Animated videos on “How to Register” and “How to Appear for Online CEE” are available on www.joinindianarmy.nic.in.
