CHURACHANDPUR, April 5: In response to the increasing number of rabies cases reported in Churachandpur district, the Director of Health Services, Chambo Gonmei, conducted a visit today to assess the situation on the ground and ensure an effective response.
A crucial meeting was held at the Conference Hall of the Deputy Commissioner’s Office, Mini Secretariat, where officials from various departments gathered to review the evolving situation. The session brought together key stakeholders from the district administration, veterinary department, and health department.
The discussions during the meeting centered around critical areas such as preventive strategies, the current stock and distribution of anti-rabies vaccines, the implementation of public awareness campaigns, and enhanced coordination among departments. The joint efforts aim to control the spread of the disease and safeguard public health in the district.
