IMPHAL, April 25: The Council of Higher Secondary Education, Manipur (COHSEM), today declared the results of the much-awaited Class XII Examination-2025 in a formal announcement ceremony held at the COHSEM hall in Babupura, Imphal. This year’s results witnessed a state-wide pass percentage of 94%, with a total of 27,175 students passing out of 28,909 who appeared.
Among the standout achievements, Keisham Hannah Devi from Enlighten Knowledge Higher Secondary School, Sangkhakphal, secured the top spot in the Arts stream, while Riya Kkwairakpam from Comet School bagged the first position in the Science stream. Warepa Lidia of TG Higher Secondary School emerged as the topper in the Commerce stream. These schools celebrated multiple placements in the top three rankings across categories.
In the Arts stream, Enlighten Knowledge Higher Secondary dominated the top ranks, with Harsh Maisnam and Sagolsen Inungangbi securing second and third positions respectively. Comet School, another high performer, had Silvia Lukram securing third position in the Science stream alongside Riya Kkwairakpam’s first-place finish. In Commerce, TG Higher Secondary saw dual third-place winners — Devia Mayenglamba and Prithita Yumnam — besides its first and second rankers, Warepa Lidia and Yaifabi Sapam.
Conducted from February 17 to March 26 across 112 centres — 74 in the valley and 38 in the hills — the 2025 examination saw participation from 29,065 students, including 20,893 from Science, 7,632 from Arts, and 540 from Commerce streams. Government Education Department officials ensured smooth conduct of the exams statewide.
Although the overall pass percentage of 94% reflects a slight dip from last year’s 97%.
