NEW DELHI, May 7: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Wednesday appealed to all tourists, visitors, and local residents who might possess any information, photographs, or videos related to the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack to come forward and share the material with the agency.
The NIA has already acquired a sizeable volume of photographs and videos showing various aspects of the attack and is meticulously examining them for potential evidence. Determined not to miss any valuable clues, the agency has decided to scale up its efforts to ensure every piece of relevant information is thoroughly investigated.
In an official appeal issued on May 7, the NIA urged individuals with pertinent details to contact them via mobile number 9654958816 or landline number 01124368800, and to provide their personal information along with specifics about the kind of input they wish to share. The Pahalgam terror attack claimed the lives of 26 tourists and injured several others, sparking nationwide outrage and a call for swift justice. Since then, numerous photographs and videos have been circulating on social media platforms, which the NIA plans to examine alongside any new material submitted by the public.
