SENAPATI, May 31: The Assam Rifles conducted a career counselling session for the students of Nazareth Residential School, Mao, in Senapati District. The session was aimed at guiding students and youth towards pursuing a career in the Indian Army.
This initiative was designed to provide clarity and motivation to aspiring candidates by informing them about the various entry schemes into the Indian Army, including the Agniveer initiative. The session served as a platform for the young minds of the region to engage directly with officers and gain valuable insights into the procedures, eligibility criteria, and benefits associated with a military career.

During the interactive session, officers from the Assam Rifles addressed the students, sharing firsthand knowledge and answering queries related to army recruitment and life in the armed forces. These initiatives play a crucial role in nation-building by encouraging disciplined, motivated, and service-oriented young individuals to consider a meaningful and honourable career in the Indian Army.
