IMPHAL, July 9: As part of the promotional events of the 134th Edition of the Durand Cup 2025 (Imphal Chapter), the Trophy Tour is scheduled to begin at 10.30 AM on 10th July 2025 (Thursday) from Sendra, Loktak Lake, and will traverse prominent routes across Imphal City, culminating at the City Convention Centre, Imphal.
The tour will take place in presence of weightlifter Saikhom Mirabai Chanu and other high ranking Army officers.
The Trophy Showcasing Ceremony will be graced by the Hon’ble Governor of Manipur, Shri Aay Kumar Bhalla and Chief Secretary, Government of Manipur, Shri Prashant Kumar Singh, at the City Convention Centre following the conclusion of the tour.
Durand Cup 2025 (134th Edition) will run from 23rd July to 23rd August 2025. The President of India Smt Droupadi Murmu officially flagged off the trophies at the Rashtrapati Bhavan on July 4th 2025.
Imphal is all set to witness a thrilling football showdown as Group F matches featuring teams viz. TRAU FC, NEROCA FC, INDIAN NAVY FT, and REAL KASHMIR FC—at the iconic Khuman Lampak Main Stadium.
Football fans can look forward to six intense matches spread across seven dates, beginning 30th July (Wednesday), followed by 1st August (Friday), 4th August (Monday), 7th August (Thursday), 10th August (Sunday), and concluding on 12th August (Tuesday). All matches are scheduled to start at 4:00 PM, promising high-energy action and fierce competition.
The Imphal Chapter is expected to draw large crowds, with supporters turning up in full force to cheer for their favourite teams.
