IMPHAL, July 12: In a concerted effort to strengthen administrative efficiency and ensure the welfare of its citizens, the Chief Secretary of Manipur chaired a high-level meeting today at the Old Secretariat, Babupara. The meeting focused on reviewing and streamlining critical administrative functions, particularly in relation to the ongoing crisis management and rehabilitation efforts across the state.
Key items on the agenda included the operation and management of relief camps, the development and maintenance of the Portal for Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs), the implementation of mandatory biometric enrolment for displaced individuals, and other pressing administrative matters.
The session was attended by senior government officials, all District Deputy Commissioners, and Directors from various departments, reflecting the state’s coordinated approach to improving service delivery and addressing the needs of those affected by the ongoing unrest.
