Imphal, July 29: The Manipur Police held a high-level meeting on July 28 with representatives of the Foothill Naga Coordination Committee (FNCC) at Police Headquarters (PHQ). The discussion aimed to address grievances raised by the FNCC and find a peaceful resolution to the ongoing bandh in the foothill areas.
According to an official statement released via the police department’s X (formerly Twitter) handle, the FNCC submitted a list of demands and concerns during the meeting. Senior police officers assured the delegation that all genuine issues would be considered with urgency and appropriate action taken.
