New Delhi, August 19: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday felicitated C.P. Radhakrishnan, the National Democratic Alliance’s Vice-Presidential nominee, at the NDA parliamentary party meeting in the national capital, urging lawmakers across the political spectrum to support his unanimous election.

Introducing Radhakrishnan to the MPs, PM Modi praised his decades-long public life, describing it as “unblemished and free of controversy,” and said his simplicity, integrity, and dedication to society made him the ideal choice for the country’s second-highest constitutional office. “His experience and inclusive approach will be instrumental in the smooth conduct of parliamentary proceedings,” the Prime Minister said.
