Senapati, August 30: The NSS Units I & II of Asufii Christian Institute (ACI), Punanamei, Mao, organised an interactive Cyber Security session as part of the My Bharat Experiential Learning Programme (ELP), aimed at promoting safe and responsible digital practices among students.
The session was led by Sir Robin Deb, IT Coordinator, who delivered an engaging talk on key aspects of cyber safety, including strong password management, safe social media usage, recognising phishing attempts, and protecting personal data online. Students were also treated to a live ethical hacking demonstration using a Linux sandboxing environment, providing practical exposure to cyber threats and security measures.

The session further covered operational security (OpSec), digital footprint awareness, and other tips for safeguarding online activities. It also highlighted the Government of India’s Sanchar Saathi initiative by the Department of Telecommunications, which aims to protect citizens and enhance cyber safety.
Participants praised the session for its practical approach and actionable advice, encouraging students to adopt safe and responsible online habits.
