Senapati, September 9: The Forest Department, Senapati, will organize a District Level Essay and Painting Competition on the theme “Living with Wildlife” as part of the 71st Wildlife Week Celebration 2025. The competitions are scheduled for September 20, 2025, across three locations—Senapati, Maram, and Tadubi.
The competition will be held in two categories: Category I (Class V–VIII) and Category II (Class IX–XII). Details are as follows:

The circular further stated that all schools and colleges under the jurisdiction of Senapati District are requested to recommend interested students for participation. Students can select their preferred centre—Senapati, Maram, or Tadubi—while filling in the application form.
Participation forms can be collected from the Office of the Divisional Forest Officer, Senapati, as well as from Karong Range Office, Maram Beat Office, Tadubi Beat Office, Mao Range Office, and Liyai Khunou Range Office during office hours.
The District Level Prize Distribution will take place at the office of the undersigned on September 23, 2025 (Tuesday). Prize-winning entries (1st, 2nd, and 3rd) will be submitted to the PCCF & CWLW, Government of Manipur, for selection at the State Level. The final winning entries will be recognized at the State Level Grand Finale on October 8, 2025, at Imphal.
