Senapati, September 21: The much awaited Fire Sub-Station was inaugurated at Tadubi on Saturday by Commissioner (Home) N. Ashok Kumar, IAS in the presence of DC Senapati Smt. Mamoni Doley, IAS; Director of Fire Services Shri L. Nabachandra Singh; Mao Council Former President Shri K. Adahrii; ADM Senapati Shri Ningreingam Leisan, MCS and Addl. SP Senapati Shri Thangkhochon Haokip, MPS.
Village elders and residents accorded a warm welcome to the dignitaries, marking the programme’s success.
The Tadubi sub-station is part of a broader initiative of the Government of Manipur in 2016, in which six new Fire Sub-Stations were sanctioned at Yairipok, Wangjing, Tadubi, Saikul, Noney and Nambol.

Following the inauguration, Kumar visited the ILP counter at Mao Gate along with district officials. He also revisited his old office after 19 years, recalling his first posting as SDO of Mao-Maram in 2006–07.
Tadubi, being a strategic location that connects Senapati with Ukhrul via the Tadubi–Tolloi road to the east, Mao to the north, and Maram/Senapati to the south, holds great significance for regional connectivity. Officials noted that the newly inaugurated Fire Sub-Station will not only aid in fire-fighting operations but also play a crucial role in handling other emergency situations in the area.
