SENAPATI, Nov 19: Lao Radiant School marked its Annual Foundation Day with great enthusiasm on Wednesday, commemorating the laying of its foundation stone on December 19, 1999, and its establishment in the year 2000. Students, teachers, parents, and well-wishers gathered to celebrate more than two decades of growth, learning, and community service.
The programme began with a prayer from the Chaplain followed by exciting presentations from the students and teachers, after which the Principal delivered an inspiring address. Reflecting on the school’s journey, he spoke about God’s unfailing faithfulness throughout the years and acknowledged the challenges faced during the early stages of the institution. He noted that despite the hurdles, the school has continued to flourish through the collective dedication of the staff, students, and the wider community.
In a major announcement that drew enthusiastic applause, the Principal revealed that the school will soon introduce Smart Classes in all classrooms. He emphasised that this initiative aims to upgrade the academic environment and enhance the teaching–learning experience, making lessons more engaging and aligned with modern educational standards, particularly the vision outlined in the NEP for technology-integrated learning.
The celebration concluded with vibrant performances by students, showcasing their talents and the lively spirit of the school. The programme officially came to a close with a Vote of Thanks delivered by CT Jonathan, Headmaster of the school, marking a memorable and hopeful beginning to the school’s future endeavours.
