SENAPATI, Nov 19: The Trekking to Esii cum Treasure Hunt was successfully organised on Wednesday by the Manipur Cherry Blossom cum Flower Festival Committee at Esii Mountain, the highest peak in Manipur.
A total of 118 participants took part in the event. It emerged as one of the most exciting highlights of the Festival, earning wide appreciation from the participants.
The Trekking and Treasure Hunt commenced from the base camp early in the morning, with participants navigating the scenic yet challenging terrain of Esii.

Green Ambassador Award:
To promote environmental responsibility and cleanliness, the Committee also presented the Green Ambassador Award to two Groups who collected waste along the while trekking back from Esii Mountain. The winners were Ashuli Pfokreo, Eloziio Charakho, Hriini Kape, Sani Elow and Athikho Bunio from Chowainu Village and Lohrii Chiithuyio, Kholi Azhiipeo, Sani Pfokrehrii, Daihrii Ashuli and Hekheni Mariikho from Song Song Village.
Their effort played a crucial role in keeping the pristine environment clean and preserving the beauty of the region.
The organisers extended heartfelt appreciation to all participants for their enthusiasm and for making the event a memorable success.
