IMPHAL, Dec 5: In accordance with the directions of Ministry of Home Affairs, Raj Bhavan Imphal has been renamed as Lok Bhavan Imphal, officials said on Friday.

Notification issued by Governors’ Secretariat said “the governor of Manipur is pleased to ordet that Raj Bhavan Imphal be hereby renamed as Lok Bhavan Imphal.”

It also said the change has been in accordance with ministry of Home Affairs (CS Division), GoI, communication dated November 25.

The order came into effect from December 3, it said.
