IMPHAL, Dec 13: Atleast ten BJP legislators from Manipur including former chief minister N Biren Singh on Saturday left for Delhi to attend a meeting with central leaders.
Biren Singh told reporters, at Imphal airport, “Let’s see. I am expecting positive things for a better Manipur. I hope some positive decision will be taken. As to the formation of government, it will be known only after the meeting with central leaders.”
MLA Kh Joykishan Singh said “I can’t say anything right now but it must be related to government formation.”
MLA RK Imo Singh said “we just have been called for a meeting tommorrow. Lets see what will happen. We don’t know have much detail.”
Party sources said some MLAs have already been stationed in the national capital for personal reasons.
BJP has 37 MLAs in the sixty member Manipur Legislative Assembly.
