IMPHAL, Jan 5: Security forces arrested four militants belonging to two different banned outfits from different parts of Manipur’s valley districts, a police statement informed on Monday.
Security Forces arrested an active cadre of the banned Peoples’ Liberation Army on Saturday from his residence at Kairembikhok Maiyai Leikai in Thoubal district.
Another cadre extortionist the outfit, identified as Laishram Kullabi Meitei (35), was arrested on Saturday from Liwa Road Kha Maibam Leikai in Imphal West district.

Another cadre of the outfit was arrested from Chingol in Thoubal district on Sunday. He has been identified as Laishram Jiban Singh (45).
An active cadre of the proscribed Kangleipak Communist Party (Taibanganba) was arrested from Kongba Khunou area in Imphal East district. He has been identified as Tensubam Bangkim Singh.
One 9 mm pistol along with four live rounds were seized from him.
Meanwhile, security forces on Friday recovered two medium size rockets weighing 40 kgs each along with 3 country made double barrels from Sejang village in Churachandpur district.
In a separate operations at Kangaching Tellou in Imphal East district on Saturday, two .32 bore pistols with magazines, one 51 HE mortars bomb, two No. 36 hand-grenades, 91 live rounds ammunition of different calibers, two .303 LMG magazines,
seven BP plates were recovered.
From Yairipok Top Ningthounai Lai Ching in Imphal East district, one SLR with magazine, one single-barrel gun, one 9 mm pistol with magazine, one .32 pistol with magazine, one .32 automatic pistol with two magazines, two IEDs, one Chinese-made hand grenade were recovered on Sunday.
