IMPHAL, Mar 1: The Honourable Deputy Chief Minister of Manipur, Shri Losii Dikho, was conferred an Honorary Doctorate Degree by Imphal Theological College and Seminary during its graduation ceremony held at Mao Baptist Church, Dewlahland, Imphal.
The degree was formally awarded by the President of the College, Dr Telen Wilson Kom, in a simple and solemn gathering attended by faculty members, church leaders and well-wishers. In his address, the President acknowledged Shri Dikho’s role in promoting social transformation, strengthening education, and supporting the growth of the Church and its ministry. He then pronounced and conferred upon him the title of Dr Losii Dikho.
Alongside the Deputy Chief Minister, fifteen graduates marched forward to receive their respective degrees, marking the culmination of their academic journey.
Accepting the honour, Dr Losii Dikho expressed gratitude to the College and the congregation for placing their trust in him. He described the recognition as a renewed call to serve with greater dedication and humility, and sought continued prayers and support as he shoulders the responsibility entrusted to him.
