SENAPATI, March 26: The All Naga Students’ Association, Manipur (ANSAM) has expressed its full support for the upcoming Naga Morung event, scheduled to take place on March 28, 2025, at Liwa Sarei Village Ground, Chandel. Organized by the Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) and hosted by the Naga Students’ Union, Chandel (NSUC), the event will be held under the theme ‘Kuknalim,’ and aims to facilitate open discussions for a just and progressive society.
In an official statement, ANSAM commended the NSF’s dedication to fostering constructive dialogue and uniting diverse perspectives. The association highlighted the importance of such platforms in strengthening democratic values and promoting meaningful engagement for the overall betterment of the Naga community.
ANSAM urged all its constituent units, subordinate bodies, and the broader Naga populace to actively participate in the event. The association also called on law enforcement agencies, civil society organizations, and the public to extend full cooperation. Additionally, ANSAM appealed to concerned groups to refrain from calling strikes or bandhs during the event to ensure its smooth execution.
The ANSAM reaffirmed its commitment to collective efforts for positive outcomes and assured unwavering support for the success of ‘The Naga Morung.’
