On the child welfare front, the cabinet adopted modified model guidelines under Section 39 of the POCSO Act, 2012, to ensure proper support for child victims during legal proceedings. The policy mandates one support person per 10 cases and outlines clear criteria for their selection and responsibilities.

Administrative transparency also received attention with the approval of revised guidelines for the allocation of general pool government quarters in the capital and district headquarters, aiming to prevent misuse and encroachment.

To reinforce the legal system, the cabinet approved new posts in the prosecution directorate—including deputy and assistant directors—along with updated pay structures. It also restructured forensic science recruitment rules and job designations to enhance capacity at the Police Training Centre in Banderdewa.

Other notable approvals included the creation of posts in the Directorate of Civil Aviation to strengthen aviation services and the transfer of veterinary officers from the rural development department to the animal husbandry department for improved service delivery.
