Bengaluru, July 28: In a proud moment for the Northeast, Arunachal Pradesh has been awarded the Best Adventure Tourism Destination Award at the India International Travel Mart (IITM) 2025, held in Bengaluru. The accolade affirms the state’s rising prominence as a premier destination for eco-friendly and culturally immersive adventure tourism in India.

The award ceremony, held on July 26, witnessed participation from top tourism industry leaders and representatives from Arunachal Pradesh. The recognition celebrates the state’s breathtaking natural beauty—ranging from snow-capped Himalayan peaks and pristine rivers to dense green forests—and its successful promotion of sustainable, responsible tourism.
