GUWAHATI, March 21: Assam Police, acting on military intelligence, arrested two militants from the Kangleipak Party (People’s War Group – KCP PWG) in a precision operation carried out on the night of March 20. The operation, based on intelligence provided by Gajraj Military Intelligence, took place at the ISBT area under the jurisdiction of Garchuk Police Station in Guwahati.

The two individuals arrested during the operation were identified as Meisnam Bungochouba Singh, a 42-year-old arms supplier from Haotak Tampha Khunou in Bishnupur, and Techsa Ibomcha Singh, a 42-year-old senior commander of KCP (PWG) from Pukhao, Imphal East. Both were wanted in multiple extortion and arms-related offenses.
