SENAPATI, May 28: Assam Rifles, along with local Police, conducted a search operation in Koide in Senapati district as part of ongoing efforts to curb drug trafficking.

During the operation, 220 soap cases of brown sugar weighing about 2.2 kgs with an estimated value of Rs 4.4 crores was recovered. The operation also led to apprehension of two individuals suspected to be involved in illegal narcotics activities.

This successful joint operation reflects the steadfast commitment of Assam Rifles and Manipur Police in combating drug menace and maintaining peace and security in the region.
