SENAPATI, June 5: In a bid to promote environmental awareness and sustainable practices, the Maram Battalion of Jwalamukhi Sector under the aegis of HQ IGAR (East) organized a tree plantation drive on the occasion of the World Environment Day on June 5 at Mao with the locals and CRPF.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from the local population, including school students, along with personnel from the CRPF and Assam Rifles.

The plantation drive aimed to raise awareness about pressing environmental issues such as climate change, pollution, and biodiversity loss. In doing so, it encouraged individuals and various organizations to take meaningful action to protect the environment.
The drive served as an inspiration for positive change, with participants collectively vowing to foster sustainable practices, reduce waste, and conserve natural resources.
