SENAPATI, Feb 28: Assam Rifles organised a career counselling session at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya in Mao on Friday.
The programme aimed to inform students of Class X and XII about the wide range of career paths open to them after school. Officers spoke about prospects in the armed forces, including entry into the Assam Rifles and the Indian Army, along with other professional fields.
Particular attention was given to the Agniveer Scheme. Students were briefed on the revised upper age limit of 22 years, eligibility norms, training structure, financial benefits, skill certification and opportunities available after completion of service.
The session ended with a vote of thanks. Assam Rifles affirmed its resolve to continue reaching out to schools and colleges to guide students in making informed decisions about their future.
