TENGNOUPAL, March 4: Acting on credible intelligence, Assam Rifles, in a joint operation with Manipur Police and the Border Security Force (BSF), successfully destroyed 20 acres of illicit poppy cultivation in KhudaiKhullen, Chelep, Tengnoupal District on March 3.

The coordinated operation, according to a press note from the PRO, IGAR (S), involved extensive surveillance and ground action. The initiative is part of ongoing efforts to combat drug-related activities in the region and underscores the commitment of security forces to tackle illegal drug production.
