Tamenglong, October 24: Assam Rifles on Friday organised a medical camp at Katangbam and Katiang villages of Tamenglong District, Manipur, under Operation Sadbhavana to provide essential healthcare services to the local population.
A total of 100 villagers, including children, women, and elderly persons, attended the camp. The medical team conducted general health check-ups and distributed free medicines as part of Operation Sadbhavana.

During the camp, several cases of cataract, hypertension, and dental caries were detected, and necessary medical assistance and referrals were provided for further treatment.
The initiative aimed to ensure accessible healthcare for residents in remote areas where medical facilities are limited. The villagers expressed their gratitude to the Assam Rifles for organising the camp and extending vital medical support to the community.
