IMPHAL, Oct 27: Assam Rifles recovered 27.60 kilograms of gunpowder during a search operation at Iron Bridge in Mizoram’s Zokhawthar village, a statement of the para military said on Monday.

The recovery was made on October 25, it said.

The recovered material was handed over to the Police Department, Zokhawthar, for further investigation, it said.
