Assam Rifles, India’s oldest paramilitary force, made a significant contribution to the development of local journalism by distributing a computer set with a printer to “Times of Senapati,” a promising new media startup.
The handing over of computer took place today at their office in Karong (Senapati). This initiative aims to support the startup’s mission to deliver timely and accurate News to the people of Senapati and beyond.
Assam Rifles emphasized the importance of supporting local media in fostering informed communities. Mr. Kibambe Felix, founder and editor of “Times of Senapati,” expressed his gratitude for the same. “This support from Assam Rifles is invaluable to us. With this new equipment, we will be able to enhance our operations and serve our readers with better and more efficient news delivery. We are grateful for their belief in our vision and their tangible support,” Mr Felix stated.
“Times of Senapati” is a newly established news outlet dedicated to providing comprehensive coverage of local news, events and issues that matter to the people of Senapati. With this new equipment, the startup is poised to improve its reporting capabilities and expand its reach.
