Senapati, July 17: Church Road Colony has fallen victim to a brazen act of theft as professional thieves continue to target vehicles for fuel. The most recent incident occurred today when thieves cut the petrol hoses from parked cars.
Among the affected vehicles were one Tata mobile and two Alto cars, marking the ninth such incident in the town. The thieves, exhibiting a troubling level of skill and audacity, clearly demonstrated their familiarity with vehicle mechanisms.
Residents reported the siphoning of fuel, expressing growing concerns about the security of their vehicles. The repeated nature of these crimes underscores a troubling trend of increasingly bold criminal activity within the community.
