SENAPATI, Oct 23: SI Ranee Abraham from Senapati District Police earned the second runner-up spot in the 2024 Annual Debate Competition on Human Rights for State Police Personnel. The event, organized by the Manipur Police Department under the guidance of the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), New Delhi, took place today at the 1st Manipur Rifles Banquet Hall.
The debate focused on the topic “Human rights violation by non-state actors is a serious issue in Manipur.” SI Abraham, who currently heads the Senapati SP Control Room, impressed the audience with his strong presentation on the issue.
The Senapati District Police, led by SP Anupam, IPS, lauded SI Abraham for his commendable achievement and his commitment to highlighting human rights issues.
