SHILLONG, Nov 2:   A coordinated operation by the Border Security Force (BSF) and Meghalaya local police on Friday led to the arrest of two Bangladeshi nationals attempting to illegally enter India. Acting on specific intelligence regarding illegal border crossings in the East Khasi Hills District, the 4th Battalion BSF alerted the Pynursla Police Station.

The joint team intercepted a Wagon R vehicle (Registration No. ML-05 AC 1946) on NH 40 near Pynursla. During the search, they apprehended the two Bangladeshi nationals and an Indian taxi driver suspected of aiding their illegal entry. The vehicle was also seized during the operation.
