NEW DELHI, Dec 11: Both the Houses of Parliament today witnessed heated exchange of words between the Treasury and Opposition bench MPs on various issues. The Rajya Sabha was adjourned for the day, while the Lok Sabha was adjourned until 2 PM due to heated exchanges between MPs on various issues.

In the Rajya Sabha, the tension escalated when Leader of the House and Union Minister JP Nadda demanded a discussion on the alleged links between Congress leaders and the US-based George Soros Foundation. Nadda raised concerns that these alleged links posed a serious threat to national sovereignty and security, accusing the Congress-led Opposition of diverting attention from this issue by introducing a no-confidence motion against Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar. He further criticized the Opposition for not respecting constitutional positions, calling for condemnation of their actions.
