Singson was among the 241 passengers and crew aboard the ill-fated flight, which crashed seconds after takeoff on June 12, leaving the nation in shock. Her body was flown from Ahmedabad to Dimapur, Nagaland, aboard an IndiGo flight, where it was received by her grieving family, community leaders, and local officials.

As the funeral convoy journeyed from Dimapur to Kangpokpi, a brief stop was made in Kohima, where members of the Kuki Union Kohima and the Kuki Mothers’ Association paid their final respects. The moving tribute reflected the widespread grief and solidarity felt by communities across the region.
Condolence messages from numerous civil society organisations poured in, commemorating Singson’s service as a flight attendant and the loss of a young life full of promise. The funeral service is set to begin at 11:00 AM today, with her burial planned for the afternoon at the town cemetery.
