Out of 17,04,367 students who had registered for the Class 12 board exams, 16,92,794 appeared, and 14,96,307 passed. The examinations were conducted from February 15 to April 4, 2025.

CBSE confirmed that students falling marginally short of the 33% passing mark may be eligible for grace marks under the current evaluation policy.

In a significant academic shift, CBSE has introduced a Relative Grading system starting from the 2024–25 academic session. This model replaces the previous fixed grading scale and assesses students in relation to the performance of their peers. The move is aimed at reducing academic stress and unhealthy competition.

The CBSE Class 10 results are expected to be declared later this afternoon.
