Churachandpur Declared ‘No Drone Zone’ Ahead of VVIP Visit

Churachandpur, September 5: The District Magistrate of Churachandpur, Kumar Dharun S, has declared the entire Churachandpur district a “No Drone Zone” in anticipation of an upcoming visit by a VVIP.

The order, issued on Thursday, prohibits the flying of drones, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), balloons, and any aerial photography or videography devices that may pose a threat to law and order. Only aerial devices expressly approved by the government will be allowed to operate during this period.

This directive has been enforced under Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023, aiming to strengthen security measures for the high-profile visit. The District Magistrate emphasized the importance of maintaining public safety and preventing any potential security risks.

Violators of the order will face strict legal action under Section 223 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023, in addition to other relevant provisions of the law.
