SENAPATI, March 12 (DIPR): The District Administration, Senapati provided 40 (Forty) CGI Sheets as immediate relief for Tunggam UJB school and was handed over to the Chief Executive Officer, Autonomous District Council, Senapati on 12th March for taking up immediate repair of the damaged school building.
It was said that a heavy storm on 2nd March of 2025 has caused an extensive damage to Tunggam UJB School under Autonomous District Council, Senapati in which the roof was blown away and severely damaged the school building.
In this connection, a detailed enquiry report was submitted by Sub-Divisional Officer, Paomata in the meeting held by the District Disaster Management Authority on 11th March of 2025 and has approved for forwarding to the state level for relief assistance as per guidelines.
The Tunggam Khullen Village Authority and school authorities have expressed their sincere gratitude and appreciation to the District Administration, Senapati for the prompt assistance on providing immediate relief material to the school.
