MARAM, Nov 11: Don Bosco College (Autonomous), Maram observed National Education Day 2025 on 11 November by organizing a one-day workshop by the Department of Education highlighting the importance of education and its role in national development.
The programme began with a formal inaugural session, which included a welcome address, lighting of the lamp, invocation, and brief introductory remarks. Rev. Fr. (Dr.) K. O. Sebastian, Principal of the college, delivered the keynote address, emphasizing the need for holistic and value-based education in today’s world.
The session also featured Dr. A. Husca, Vice Principal of Platinum College, Nihokhu, Nuiland (affiliated to Nagaland University), as the resource person. Dr. Husca spoke on educational development, professional ethics, and the evolving responsibilities of educators.
The workshop saw enthusiastic participation from both students and faculty, making the observance meaningful and impactful.
