SENAPATI, Oct 28: Don Bosco College (Autonomous), Maram, achieved a remarkable milestone by successfully organizing its first-ever Job Fair on Monday, October 28, 2025, in collaboration with the AIDA DB Job Placement Network, Dimapur (DB JPN).
The event witnessed an overwhelming response, with 100 registered participants appearing for on-the-spot interviews, resulting in 80 candidates being shortlisted for various job roles across India — an impressive 80% success rate that highlighted the quality and employability of Don Bosco graduates.
The inaugural ceremony began with an invocation by Rev. Fr. Shyan CJ, SDB, Vice Principal of the College, followed by a welcome address from Rev. Fr. Palatty Devassy, SDB, Rector.
Rev. Fr. Dr. Roy George, SDB, Executive Director of AIDA, Dimapurin his address, commended the collaboration, saying, “This partnership with Don Bosco College, Maram, is a powerful step towards realizing the career aspirations of the youth in Senapati and the surrounding districts. The talent we saw today was truly exceptional.” He was joined by Dr. Anna Lungbila Bibiana, HRD Manager, AIDA, and Mr. Augustine Gangmei, Program Manager of DB JPN, India, who motivated students to embrace challenges and pursue professional growth with confidence.
The Job Fair drew participation from leading recruiters across multiple sectors, offering positions in education, corporate services, and hospitality. Among the key recruiters were SBI Life Insurance (Senapati), Chilli Breeze (Kohima), AshyamRestaurant (Chennai), Guardian Angel School (Arunachal Pradesh),Ohaa International School (Tamil Nadu), Chicking (Tamil Nadu),Talent Acquaintance (Dimapur), ReyHair Extension (Chennai).
The event, which commenced at 10:15 a.m., concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Mr. John Britto, Coordinator of the IQAC and Placement Cell, DBC(A) Maram who expressed gratitude to all recruiters, staff, and participants for making the job fair a success.
