SENAPATI, May 5: The final photo electoral rolls for the 49-Tadubi (ST) Assembly Constituency was published today, marking a significant milestone in the Special Summary Revision of Electoral Rolls for the upcoming bye-election. The publication of the final rolls was done as per the schedule set by the Election Commission of India.
Mamoni Doley, IAS, the District Election Officer (DEO) and Deputy Commissioner of Senapati, briefed political party representatives on the revision activities carried out during the revision period. Following the meeting, copies of the final electoral rolls were handed over to the representatives of various political parties at the DEO’s office in Senapati.
The DEO Senapati also informed that both the general public and political party representatives can inspect and verify the final photo electoral rolls for 2025 at the offices of Electoral Registration Officers (EROs), Assistant Electoral Registration Officers (AEROs), and Booth Level Officers (BLOs) in the 49-Tadubi (ST) Assembly Constituency. Additionally, the rolls are available for online access via the Chief Electoral Officer, Manipur’s official website: https://ceomanipur.nic.in.

The DEO highlighted key figures from the final electoral roll, including a total of 48,682 electors in the constituency, consisting of 24,470 males and 24,212 females. Additionally, 981 new electors have been enrolled—449 males and 532 females. During the revision, 55 electoral rolls were deleted, while 805 service electors were included. The final publication confirmed that 81 polling stations will remain the same as no new polling stations were created.
Furthermore, the DEO reminded the public that under Section 24 of the Representation of the People Act, 1950, an appeal can be filed with the District Election Officer/Deputy Commissioner of Senapati, and a second appeal can be made with the Chief Electoral Officer, Manipur.
