IMPHAL, Nov 18: Former chief minister N Biren Singh on Tuesday met with representatives of the Joint Tribes of Tamenglong district and discussed preparations on the upcoming state level orange festival.

In a post on X, Singh said “Had a meaningful interaction with the Joint Tribes Council of Tamenglong comprising the Inpui, Liangmai, Rongmei and Zeme communities.”

He also said “the discussion focused on preparations and guidance for the upcoming State Level Orange Festival. I truly appreciate their collective wisdom, cultural spirit and commitment towards making the festival a grand success.”
