IMPHAL, Dec 16: BJP MLA Tongbram Robindro on his return from Delhi on Tuesday said the recent meeting with central leaders was very fruitful and government will definitely come.
Tongbram said “we had a fruitful meeting with central leaders. The main agenda was the welfare of the people. Government will and has to come. But there has to be peace first. I cannot say the definite time but government will come.”
The Thanga constituency legisltor said “we are all human beings and have to live together. Whatever mistakes that have been committed, we have to forgive each other and forget. We have to live together in the state.”
Another MLA Heikham Dingo said “we talked on how to bring peace. Continued dilogue with centre would lead to positive outcomes for the people.”
Atleast 34 BJP MLAs from the state including former chief minister N Biren Singh and speaker Th Satyabrata Singh discussed on “peace and progress” in the state with party leaders BL Santhosh and Sambit Patra at party headquarters in Delhi on Sunday.
