IIM Shillong Expands Global Academic Network with New International Partnerships

SHILLONG, April 1: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Shillong has strengthened its global academic presence by signing five new Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with prominent institutions across Europe, Africa, and North America. These strategic partnerships reflect IIM Shillong’s commitment to fostering global collaboration in management education, research, and cultural exchange.

The newly signed MoUs are with the following institutions:

  • POLIMI Graduate School of Management, Italy
  • IE Business School, Spain
  • Westsächsische Hochschule Zwickau – University of Applied Sciences Zwickau, Germany
  • University of Johannesburg, South Africa
  • Laurentian University, Canada (most recently signed)

According to IIM Shillong, these agreements will facilitate a variety of collaborative initiatives, including student and faculty exchange programs, joint research projects, and the development of dual-degree and immersion programs. The institute emphasized that these global partnerships are designed to broaden academic and professional opportunities for both students and faculty.
